handling unit

A handling unit means (along with measurement systems and control systems and laser assembly) the part of a laser unit that is responsible for positioning between the processing head and the workpiece. [ISO 11145]
hardfacing

Hardfacing means ‘overlay welding to increase wear and/or impact resistance’.

Hardfacing is one application that can be carried out with our laser wire deposition. In addition to hardfacing, other surface properties can also be modified with the metal coating or used for repairs, for example.
